Jay Porcano

Full Time Coach and Facility Manager


Jay Porcano began his experience in the fitness industry by obtaining his CPT in 2014 so that he could further his training for BUD/S in 2015-16. Day to day, most of his time was spent swimming, running, or doing calisthenics in various combinations. Jay had exposure to some of the best practices and coaches while training with the military. Shortly after exiting this training Jay spent about a year doing distance running at ultra-marathon distances.

After leaving the Navy he obtained his CFL1 certification. Jay is especially familiar with running, gymnastics, and mobility work. Jay wants to help others achieve their goals as well as educate athletes as opposed to blind instruction. A large part of Jay’s motivation in life is to better understand the resiliency people display during challenging times and help others develop the mental toughness required for long term progress in fitness and in life.
